How to think about marketing so that you get the best results in business.

I was having a chat with my wife this morning.

Well, actually, it has been like an argument where we are building a new shed on our property.

And the argument was around whether we should have detailed plans are not now I'm like, Hey, we should have detailed plans.

And she was like, No, we should say the money.

The plans are going to come in around $5,000.

And the total projects, maybe 50 60,000.

And she saw them as a waste of money.

And I'm like, well, they might be superfluous.

But the risk is that something goes wrong in the building, or the engineering doesn't get done correctly, or the placements wrong.

And any of those mistakes end up costing 5000 10,000, even 25, even 100,000.

Way more than expected.

And so suddenly, the saving of 5000 does not look like such great value.

So this argument went on for a while.

But what I got to was that this is a very similar problem that businesses have when it comes to their sales and advertising.

Like dude, what has built a shed got to do with sales and advertising? Well, what I want to share with you is the problem with a lot of sales funnels a lot of advertising is that people are just pulling the blanks for their templates.

So if you go to a lot of like courses or even page builders, they'll have how to blank without blank, and you just randomly pull those blanks out.

Same with your ads, it's like okay, fill in the blanks.

But those blanks are not consistent, those blanks have no, no consistent journey through them.

That's whatever pulled up getting pulled out of your brain at that time.

And you see what you are missing is the blueprints, the actual blueprint for your sales funnels and your ads, just like my wife is missing the plans for our shit.

And the interesting thing is that it is infinitely cheaper to fix stuff on paper than it is in real life.

And yet business after business, go ahead and deploy sales funnels, adds a lot of work goes in, you know, you're probably looking 20 hours, 25 hours, 50 hours, 100 hours, maybe 10s of 1000s of dollars, hundreds of 1000s of dollars going in, and yet that blueprint is missing.

Now, why is that? This is a good question.

Why is it that this is missing? Well, I'll tell you why.

Because there's a single word that has such difficulty in defining that people miss what it's actually for.

And that word is marketing, marketing.

I thought marketing was all of this.

Yeah, it is all of this.

But I want you to think about marketing as the blueprint that's going to serve as the underlying foundation that builds your sales funnels, builds your ads, and that when you get your marketing right now you will have a consistent experience from AD through to opt-in through the video through the sales through the purchase.

Because the blueprints are clear, that is what marketing is.

So I want you to think about marketing underpinning your sales funnel.

Same marketing goes into your sales funnel, the same marketing goes into your ads, same marketing goes into your products.

And when you get this now you can spend time defining exactly who you're going to talk to what their problem is how you solve that problem.

And what your offer is that you're presenting, you get clear on that.

And suddenly, your ability to have far more effective sales funnels, higher conversion rates on your ads, and happier customers goes through the roof.
