The difficult choice you've got to make when choosing systems software.

Now, this might not be apparent straight off the bat that you like, when you make a decision about which systems software, you use the implications that are got for your business.

Let me lay this out you've got a choice between two major directions that you can take when you're choosing your system software.

One is around the systems and focusing on production because your systems are managing production.

But there is another option.

And the second option is that instead of focusing on the systems, you focus on the processes, and by focusing there, you get a significant advantage.

That is that the software will genuinely allow you to duplicate whole lists of work that has to be done.

And when you do that, it means that each person can go and check it off, check, check, check, check.

If you go across to the option of the system, which is generally handled through project management software, then you're not going to get that or certainly not going to be able to get it at the detail that you can when you've got dedicated systems operating procedure, sorry, SOP Presta.

Software, generally, what's standard operating procedures.

So let's have a look at two options.

One is you look at an Asana, you look at a Monday look at a click up, you look at any of the project management software's this is going to allow you to duplicate your systems and get them to run very effectively.

But you will generally have to choose not to have the ability to have the specific processes be ticked off by every person you like, Okay, you're assigned to this process, you're assigned to this process, but you will not be able to get that level of detail.

On the other side, if you need that detail.

If you need to make sure that stuff got done.

If you're in a business that has a very high level of compliance requirements, or you have a business that really requires you to know that all of the steps got done, then you are far better off looking at SOP software and having that ability to say yep, that got done.

Is there some way of doing them both? Perhaps you could have that when you duplicate a board over in your asana that it triggers through perhaps something like Zapier a whole bunch of duplications that automatically happen.

And then you refer to this is this is generally pretty complicated, very difficult.

And usually, as the business owner, you're just going to have to choose, are you going to go for productivity? And choose a project management software?
