Systems have become who I am

Sep 08, 2021

Okay, super sketchy up here in New Reba.

So this may drop out.

But I wanted to let you know what happens after a while when you begin to operate purely from systems that everything that I do in my business is systematic except some things.

And those little things now are becoming increasingly obvious that they are ineffective and inefficient.

And that my mind itself is like struggling when it no longer has the structure of the framework of the system.

It's like, okay, where does this fit in? What are we doing with this? Where's that? What are we trying to create here? Like, why are you doing this? It's so strange, is literally the strangest thing I've experienced is, Okay, hang on, I'm realizing that even if I have one-off tasks, I'm better off building the structure for the system, whacking my mind into shape.

And it's like, oh, great, cool.

Let's go.

Let's go.

We got the system.

I'm ready.

I know how to do this.

It's almost like my dog reminds me my dog is like, Oh, we're throwing the ball.

Let's go.

Let's go.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Yeah.

Same the systems.

And then without them without the system is like, ah, what are we doing? But but but what's going on here? So strange, literally strange thing.

I'm having it.

Because I am redoing my opt-in page at the moment, my opt-in page has been sucking, terrible 3% 2% conversion rate horrible.

It's cost me a fortune.

I'm like, Okay, I've got to fix the opt-in.

But I'm just doing it one-off, and it's not got it's not part of a system.

And so my mind continues to struggle.

It's like, where are we up to? Where does this fit in? What's the result? What do you try to do with this? The system answers all of those questions, it gives my mind the answers.

It's almost like my mind needs those answers in order for it to effectively work.

And once it's got those, it's like, game on.

This is a very peculiar experience.

I'm loving it.

I'm beginning to recognize that I haven't recognized this before.

And so now in recognizing my Okay, well, even one-off tasks, I should build a system, it is worth it.

That is like sharpening the ax.

That old saying, I'm guessing it was Lincoln not sure that had six hours to cut down the tree, I'd spend four hours sharpening the ax building, the system doesn't take that long by any means.

But its effectiveness is so much higher, so much higher.

And if you're sick of struggling with work, if you've got work that never gets finished, if you've got work, that you're not sure why you're even doing it, or your team is doing it, you have no optics about what work is getting done.

If you're sick of managing your team and troubleshooting your team trying to tell them what to do wondering why they don't do the work that they do.

All of these problems come down to one single thing and that is your inability to run systems.

You need help with that.

If you want to know how to do this head over to systemio.dev. I hope you got a lot of value out of today's episode I certainly enjoyed making it looks like He got away with a solid connection to the Internet, which is pretty sweet.

Alright, see you tomorrow as we continue to explore the power.

The let me say that again.

Power Systems to create results.

See you then.
