I never really understood marketing much.
I heard people talking about avatars and irresistible offers and problems people had.
But so what?
I saw little relationship to what I really wanted… how to turn ads into cash.
So I would skip over those sections and just head to the “important” bits of the training - how to run a webinar.
How to run a product launch.
How to make a Facebook ad and set it up.
It was not until I understood systems - primarily systems for selling and advertising that I finally understood why “marketing” is the MOST IMPORTANT factor for selling success.
As I built out the systems for the ads and the sales funnels from templates acquired over the years… the requirement for the same [VARIABLES] become starkly apparent.
And I discovered that the work of “Marketing” is to clearly define those variables.
Without doing this - filling in the copy took forever and was VERY prone to becoming inconsistent startlingly fast.
The email no longer matched the video playing on the video. 😧
The ad no longer matched the optin. 😧
The retargeting ad no longer matched the sales page. 😧
It was all a recipe to waste lots of ad dollars fast.
In the end, I made one document of ALL the variables required for marketing and then the 5 systems to produce them.

Granted, you still have to proofread to check - but done this way - the outcome is a highly consistent ad and sales experience for your ideal customer.
