Are you willing to accept the consequences of inaction?

Are you willing to accept the consequences of inaction? This is an interesting question.

And the reason I asked is that the basic premise of System IO is that systems create results.

And within those systems, there is work that must be done.

And when that work gets done, you get the results.

But what's interesting to consider is that inaction will also give you results.

The problem with inaction is that those results tend to be painful, tend to be unpleasant tend to be undesirable, tend to be stuff that you don't want, I don't want.

And yet the curious thing is that inaction is so tempting that given the choice between working out and sitting on the couch, most people will choose sitting on the couch, given the choice between reading scripture, and connecting to God, and not most people will choose not.

The interesting thing is that across the board in action will give results.

But it does not happen immediately.

It takes time.

But nonetheless, eventually, the results will come.

And the interesting thing is at that point, then the action will begin.

Humans will then typically say, You know what, I don't want this, I don't want this body that doesn't work very well.

I don't want my marriage to fall apart.

I don't want a disconnection from my kids.

I don't want empty bank accounts.

I don't want a business that's falling apart.

And then the action will start.

But it began and was caused because of inaction.

So this interesting dynamic develops in action, action, inaction, action, inaction, action.

And the really interesting thing is how do you continue to act knowing that action gives results that the actions in those systems give the results that you want? How do you say, You know what, I have been down this path before I have been down this path?

So many times, I know where inaction leads, it leads to my world burning down.

Once again, oh, look, it's burning down and now I will act.

But the real trick is when you systemize your actions, then you must be aware of the consequences of not doing them.

And you have a choice.

What kind of world do you want to create? What kind of results do you want to experience and when you get this than taking the actions that are required to run the systems becomes so much easier.

Why? Because you know that the results are the ones that you want, you have a choice, take the action and get the results that you want or do not take the action and experience those that you don't I'll leave it with you your choice, make the action, take the action or do not either way, you will experience results.
