Alright, first scuba dive.
Well, I just want to document this.
It has been a pretty awesome day to be able to go out and scuba did pool day yesterday, as we covered in yesterday's episode, but today was out on the boat, big swells coming in.
So we made it out.
There's a lot of surfers out at parts of Byron Bay and the boat driver got through all those and then just full throttle all the way out to join rocks about five minutes.
And then from there, it was pretty interesting, like so hot, and we're in wetsuits.
And my son was struggling a bit just with the heat and being able to focus and He got really fixated on the heat.
But we've got the gear on ran checks, there's a lot of safety checks and everything but once they were good then it was like over the side and into the water.
And then into scuba.
This was pretty cool.
Like it's it was big swells.
So there's a lot of currents, but tracked down to 12 meters and had the air equalization problems like just pop in my nose.
And as we go down this fish, the sharks, there's schools of like big fish gone past.
My sons are manta rays.
I didn't see it.
There were loggerhead turtles, I saw an eel is a very different world down there.
It's not the first time that I've been into the underwater world.
But just being down there so deep, and having this breathing apparatus was phenomenal.
It was just an amazing experience.
And a couple of times, my mind definitely went to like, How's how is this working like almost little freak-outs about well, if the air stops, I am 12 meters under the water.
And it would be fine.
Like it's totally fine to ascend and go up from there.
And that's fine.
But the experience itself was totally amazing.
Incredible.
Just wanted to talk about that.
Really, it's it is a system.
There's no doubt about that.
But the experience that those systems allowed was awesome.
Tomorrow got three dives, weather permitting so we dive center 615 So leave the house at 6 am It's been jumped my son like he's been getting up at 11 am in holidays and then down to seven o'clock this morning and then Superbike quarter to six tomorrow.
Be on the road at six.
So quite a big jump for him.
We'll see how it goes.
And then two dives then back in and then back out of the lab.
And so really looking forward to tomorrow amazing experience first scuba dive ever.
If you get the opportunity, it's well worth doing.
Alright, that's all I got for you.
I hope you enjoyed today's episode.
I certainly had an awesome day.
Super stoked to share it with you.
Look forward to seeing the next episode as we continue this journey into the power systems to create results.
See you then.
